You serious, Cotty? Nah, you have to be kidding. The colder temperature prolongs their life. So I've been told for eons... I don't have numbers, but apparently the chemical reactions taking place within a battery are depressed a great deal by low temperatures, and hence they have a longer shelf life. keith > Cheers, > Cotty
