Ah, I didn't read down that far.

The 24-90 is very nice actually, but just a shame its not as wide as it
used to be.  I have the Sigma 17-35 ex for that, and will look at the DA
lens if it is really small and good.

I have a new(second hand) FA 50 1.4 which is almost the only lens I use
day to day at the moment though.  This is perfect for my people shots.
I use the 24-90 if I need instant versatility, but havent even got
around to trying a lot of my glass on it yet.

I did find the 24-90 at 90(135) to be quite good for shots of aircraft
passing over on approach to heathrow...
