I have sold (via eBay) to Italy, England, Scotland, Norway, Poland, Hong
Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Canada, and the U.S.
Maybe also Belgium. No problems, except that there are extra steps to take
in the paperwork, it is more expensive (and harder to predict the cost) to
ship, and maybe just a wee bit of anxiety until the deal is done. The
advantage of taking the risk is that you will certainly expand the potential
market for your used gear.

I have bought (via eBay) from a similar range of places. My biggest
adventure in that regard was buying a $1500 G4 Powerbook from a guy "in
Seattle", only to have him ask me to send him the money in Romania. Why
Romania I ask. I am here on a mission trip and I am selling my computer for
expenses, he says. Right, I say. Bye, I say. And I bought my Powerbook from
a guy in Colorado instead.
