this presumes that consumer grade film is really worse than pro grade. it's usually not. the main difference in many popular pro films versus consumer ones is how long they are allowed to age before being sold. Sensia and Provia are essentially the same. EliteChrome and Ektachrome are too. pro films are about predictable and reliable color mostly.
