I did mean 1000's not 100's. What I do when I get home is plug in the camera 
start my DL and go and make a well deserved cuppa, the transfer's nearly 
complete when I get back to my WS with my brew.

If I'm shooting on my light table it's usually only small batches of images so 
DL speed makes little difference, I'm only transferring 4MP HR JPEG too.

Each to their own, I don't need USB 2 or a card reader to make my work-flow 
more efficient, you may.
