Well, that's a guess. At this point in 2002 I had 12 booked, and ended up with 38. 18 is really good for this point, though I 'm not sure what the reverse of seasons means for you. Up here a lot of people get engaged at Christmas and New Year's, and January/February brings a lot of new signups. > no way could i pull that > many off by myself - > the orders alone would have me in a flap. That's what I'm saying. > i'll see how i > go for bookings by > say late Feb, and i might have to seriously consider hiring > an assistant if > it looks like it is getting out of hand... Well, there is an alternative. Raise your prices. Maybe put the word out that the locals get a discount, but otherwise jack 'em up. > BUT, like i said > in an earlier > post, i stil can't believe that people want to pay me to > push a button, > especially people from Brisbane, they have so many > photographers to choose > from down there... I have the same thought sometimes. DC is lousy with photographers. > THEN tom said: "Maybe. Did you set any exposure compensation?" > > yep, i did, but not enough, obviously. Well, yeah, you have to be careful with black tuxes and white dresses. I'm not sure which camera you're using, but some allow you to lock down the flash exposure before you actually shoot. tv
