Thanks John, I currently have MZ/ZX50 and saving up for MZ-S and hopefully getting a *istD much later. I just like the feel of the old mechanical camera and I think it'll be very nice to start my little collection here.

My ME Super was stolen, otherwise I would still own it. Personally I'd recommend a Super Program if you can find one - it's nice to have shutter priority (assuming you have A lenses). But the ME Super is an excellent aperture priority or manual camera. It even does one thing better than the Super Program - it works (at 1/100 shutter speed) without batteries. I've never owned an LX, although I have handled them on occasions. But apart from the LX the Pentax models I'd reccomend from personal experience would be: MX All-manual, all the time. ME Super Aperture priority (like the ME), but with manual capabilities. Super Program Adds shutter priority (and full program) PZ-1p Top-of-the-line for flash sync speed in the auto-focus range MZ-S Better AF & flash system, but slower shutter & basic flash sync, Plus, of course, the *ist-D
