With the Pentax 645, standard position (grip to the right, viewfinder on top) you get horizontal framing. For "portrait" orientation you have to turn the camera on its side (but it has an extra tripod socket on its side for when you're doing a lot of portraits - very neat feature). -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
