That is just about what I have concluded. There are times when a 2mp digital would be very useful to me, but a 6mp DSLR is really just a replacement for my film cameras which do what I need them to do quite well, and sometimes better than digital would (slides and B&W). It seems to me that is the best of both worlds.

(If I was still making money with my cameras I would need to go digital just to be competitive, but then my customers would be paying for the equipment, wouldn't they?)
