Sorry, I wasn't as clear as i should have been. The film carrier in my post
is the one in the darkroom. The film moves vertically in the camera, hence
the camera, as held normally, gives a horizontal perspective.
Unfortunately, at least as far an I am concerned, when the film is in an
enlarger, the negative sits sideways.
It is probably something that only bothers me, but it bothered me enough to
walk away from the 645 format for good.
