WHO HAS THE SMALLEST, LIGHTEST, DIGITAL SLRS? PENTAX:
With its *ist D certainly the compact, lightweight winner of all digital
SLRs, Pentax vows to move in two directions: even smaller, lighter, less
expensive digital SLRs (Pentax: "there's no reason why we can't make a
digital SLR as light and small as a 35mm SLR"), and a more comprehensive
SLR with image stabilizer in camera body or lenses. Two series of lenses
are visualized: one for the APS digital sensor cameras and one for 35mm
cameras, the lenses to be introduced in parallel, perhaps five a year.
