The assumption is that with a 24 x 36mm sensor, that the same quality could be achieved as the current film medium. That would unfortuanately result in the same lens focal length problems as the current APS sized sensor in 35mm sized DSLR's.
I've wondered though if the sensor sized/focal length issues couldn't be resolved by simply changing the distance to the sensor from the lens. Would this be doable, or would this result in massive focus problems outside of the lens intended focus range? Rather then make the body thicker a bushing spacer adapter could be inserted in front of the lens or something. ----- Original Message ----- From: "J. C.
