I have tried the RH-B70 lens shade but I don't think it helps that much anyway. It is very wide, to allow for the 35mm, so it really does nothing at 105mm.
As good as this lens is, it really is a 4,5/35-105 with a one stop wider opening for easy focussing... At 3.5 it is very soft and image quality improves dramatically if you stop down a little bit.
