Mark,
I can only add few notes to the other comments.
My experience with the 6x7 has been very satisfying so far, I've
been using a early MLU model for the last three years and it
performed almost flawlessly (it just missed a couple of times to
fire the flash, but it is probably a fault of the cables...).
Never experienced shutter or mirror induced vibrations, even
with handheld shots with the 200mm, nor on tripod. I use the MLU
almost ever when on tripod, though.
About the lenses, I still have to find a less than wonderful
lens. I have the current 45mm, a second version 55mm (came with
the camera, really sharp - I'm told the latest version is the
best lens in the lineup, but I can hardly imagine how they could
have improved it...), a 90mm, a 135 macro (old verson, this one
too is quite sharp, although goes anly to 1:3), the 165 LS (a
very fine lens, bought as a bargain with some scratches in the
coating of the front element, still performs very well) and the
current 200mm.
My favorite is probably the 55mm (around 28mm in 35mm terms),
followed by the 200mm. I guess I could do almost everything with
those two. Strangely, I don't find the 67 lenses to be heavy,
although they're a bit bulky.
When I bought my 6x7, it came with the 55mm, as I wrote above,
and a waist level finder. Nice setup, unless you do many
vertical shots (of course...) and quite portable. I like a lot
the WL finder, it weighs almost nothing and let you see 100% of
the field.
Hope this helps.
Ciao,
Gianfranco
