Hello Jens,

Yes, the *ist uses aperture control on the body, not the lens.  It is
not as nice as the *istD in that there is only one wheel that controls
both aperture and shutter.  When using an auto mode, this is fine,
when using manual, it kind of sucks.  You have to press a button plus
spin the wheel for aperture control, while the wheel alone does
shutter.

But yes, the FAJ concept works just fine on the *ist.
