That's not _my_ claim, Shel. Somebody else claimed that many of the "photographers" of his accquaintance were incapable of operating their cameras in anything other than automatic mode.
I don't think manual cameras are hard - I learned on a brownie and an Agfa fold-out, and thought the match-needle metering of my Spotmatic was a great step forward.
