I must admit, I've not heard either the winder or motor LX, but whenever I want to sound like a "Pap", I snap off a few with the Winder MX. <vbg>
Truth be told, I keep the winder on my MX most of the time - makes a great grip. But I almost never turn it on. Maybe once or twice a year, and that's just to impress my friends with the sound. Or make Brendan laugh (he thinks it's hilarious).
