I thought the same as you. That Boros was Boris in another language or something. So I thought that Boros was Atilla's first name as you did.

My problem has never been people not knowing that frank is my given name. Rather, those times that I've lived in non-French areas (like Toronto, where I am now), no one can pronounce my surname properly. I usually get "There-ree-olt", whereas the anglicized pronounciation of my name is "Terry-o" (emphasis on the first syllable).

Atilla (now that I know), you confused me too, though my heritage is Soviet as well. Moscow you know.
Anyway, being Boris (given name) myself I thought that Boros was some kind of your language version of Boris or similar name.
I apologize if I addressed you inappropriately in the past.
My wife pointed out that I could be doing wrong but I dismissed her theory...
