A normal developing tank (Paterson) for 35mm requires 290ml for each film . all the best

Instead the rep offered me five 'Tabs' kits (150 ml doses that do two films each -- for the price of two. I took them. I mixed a double lot (300ml) -- two developer tabs and four Bleach/Fix -- and processed two films one after the other. Two days later I processed another three. All look good and tomorrow I'm going to process another one and see what happens. The tabs, about the size of Alka Selzers dissolve with slight bubbling in no time at all. This tells me that the chemistry is slightly different because normally the powder takes a while, 5 - 10 mins with stirring, to dissolve in quite warm water (55C). I have never come across ( or heard of ) a 35 mm tank that takes 150 ml of solution. I once had one with a dimpled apron (50+ years ago when I was a teenager) that took not very much, but 150 ml is ridiculous. I'm not surprised the product is not popular.
