My own interest in this project is that I have literally hundreds if not thousands of slides my dad took (Kodachromes). They are a treasure for the family, and I want to find a way to turn them digital to put them on DVD's along with home movies which I am transfering to digital also . . .

get a bellows then you have adjustable magnification.
Isn't that easy John. Trust me on this.
Though I don't hold out much hope for the slide holder 1X K.
