Of course this was an unfair assessment of LA eateries. I've eaten in 
many of the world's best restaurants and LA is right up there with NY 
and Paris. If you don't believe me, try Wofgang Puck's Chinois on Main 
Street in Santa Monica or Georgio De Baldi on West Channel in the same 
city, or Crustacean in Beverly Hills. It doesn't get much better than 
that.
