Thanks Bruce and Joe.
I found that the user guide says:

"Standard TTL flash is available when
used with other Pentax TTL flash enabled
camera bodies."

I guess that means it can be used in manual, which I do most of the time
anyway (with PZ-1 and MZ-S). TTL still works in manual with thes bodies.
This is esoecially convenient with the MZ-S, because setting to manual takes
just one small twist of the time wheel!

Joe,

Minor correction - the AF360FGZ will only do P-TTL on bodies that
support P-TTL. On other bodies it will do regular TTL. The MZ-S and
*ist/*istD use P-TTL.

The way I work it, I use the 360 for daylight flash fill for my
weddings and portraits because of the high speed flash synch and flash
exposure compensation. For the receptions and such (lower light) I
use AF400T's in regular TTL mode with some compensation. This
combination is working satisfactorily for me.
