lol! Hi Leon, I eat very late around here! lol, I tend to get carried away working and then go an quickly grab something to scoff just before I pass out. Hence, the apple being my lunch at like 4pm! I am however, currently cooking a pizza for our dinner tonight, so can't wait to tuck into that!
In regards to the 16-45, I actually have one lined up to take home with me from GFM, so I will be able to compare them soon enough! I can't wait - if the 18-35mm is producing these kind of results then the 16-45 should prove to be amazing! In the same way as you are having your dilemma with the over-abundance of film equipment in your house, it was with a heavy heart that I sold off a good portion of mine on Ebay last week too. I now only own ONE film body - the MZ-6. However, I HAVE developed a keen love of wide angle lenses (thanks to the FAJ 18-35mm), and feel most fortunate that I will have the opportunity to have one that suits my film body as well as digital. I still take the MZ-6, along with the Oly to my weddings as a backup, and being able to purchase two wide angle lenses to suit both the film and digital camera, is just not a luxury that I ever thought I'd achieve. I am most appreciative to those who have allowed me this luxury! (you know who you are!). Anyways, I am keeping one film body, and a couple of lenses to suit, for "old times sake", and as reliable backups should I ever have computer failures etc, but like you, I have not shot one frame of film since the *istD arrived in my mailbox, and I don't foresee that I will be doing so any time soon. Actually, I MAY shoot a roll or slide film at GFM, but not sure if I really want to carry an extra camera body all that way for the sake of one little competition that I will probably embarrass myself at anyways! lol. Enjoy your dinner! tan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Leon Altoff" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, April 18, 2004 5:26 PM Subject: Re: My lunch... > On Sun, 18 Apr 2004 16:58:09 +1000, Tanya Mayer Photography wrote: > > >For some reason, the apple caught my eye.
