I believe there is a line in the sand, but it is only known to each
photographer personally.

Don't forget that manipulation of photographic images has been going on
since photography was first invented. Dodging and burning in a darkroom
is a direct descendant of digital manipulation.

For me, the finished print (I don't shoot slides) is all that matters.
Take it or leave it. How I got there is nobody's business except mine. I
live with my own personal demons !
