Yes, the first thing I did when I encountered the Magic Needle was check
the manual on how to load the damn camera. It made a big difference,
but still, the wire thingies beat the pants off of the Magic Needle.
I suggest a new favourite list: favourite film loading mechanism.
Oh, and I forgot to post a couple of days back: the transparent plastic
snap down cover thingy from Minolta's older AF cameras is also present
in the P&S AF-V that I have from them, and I agree, it is miraculous,
and it is beyond me why they stopped using it.
