I realise this is a rather old thread now.. but I've just got one and ripped 
out the drive (luckily the stock here in Oz still seems to have the older 
style microdrive that works in a camera).  No problems there, formatted in 
the *istD and workes perfectly.

I was trying to get my Transcend 512MB to work in the muvo2, with no luck. I 
just get the infamous 'Media Error' and can't format it.

Did you ever resolve this, Rob? (or anyone)

Did you manage to get your Muvo2 working again with a low capacity CF 
card? If
so what brand and model?

My old 512MB card comes up with a media error regardless of how it's 
prepared.
Any assitance would be appreciated.
