Once again I have a question for the group. I just bought a FA 20mm f2.8, am I going to be able to get by with regular filters or is it necessary to use thin ring filters? I'm especially concerned about the polarizer. Today was the first day I've shot with the lens and only did about 1/2 a roll, so just wondering if I need to make plans for a few $ and filters.
So far, using the lens is great! I can grab pics that just don't quite fit a 24mm. I guess flare is just part of the territorry. I've read about and seen some pics directed into the sun, and they seem great. But I haven't had the same experience or luck as the others. With the sun at an reasonable angle to the lens it's been pretty good. On a general note, any recommendations on lens hoods? Are the Pentax recommend worthwhile? Or has someone found something better. So many more lenses so little time. Thanks in advance -- John Lingelbach [EMAIL PROTECTED] "You're dumb as a mule and just as ugly!
