"I do see some CA in the corners,"
Is this color fringing something we will just have to live with?
Last week, between transit disasters, I took some pix of the Jefferson Memorial with the *ist D and DA 16-45 f4. One shot was from a distance, across the Tidal Basin. At the juncture between the white dome of the monument and the blue sky (it was clear that day) there is a darker blue fringe. When I sharpened for printing at about 7 x 10 inches, this color fringe was greatly enhanced.
