I believe that same kit is in the B&H Photo catalog for $199.
It is basically a portrait setup. If she is selling clothing it may be just what she needs. It would not be the best setup for small products.

She doesn't have the space and experience (and money) for a more elaborate setup, and this seemed like a good deal for her at the buy it now price.
