My understanding from the Pentax Rep is that has already happened.
In fact, IIRC, what he said was Pentax USA (photographic stuff), Pentax Medical (edoscopes,etc), and Pentax Digital(?)(printers, etc.) have been combined into "Pentax Imaging Corporation". So all the Pentax subsideraries in the US are now one organization run out of the new offices in Boulder, Colorado.
