Scanned film at minilabs produce a 2000x3000 pixel working file at 8
bits per colour.
Hmmm, all the quality of a 6mp camera, complete with grain aliasing,
scan artifacts and cartoon like faces.
Unfortunately, film loses all it's inherent advantages over digital
when scanned.
