Jens, It is possible to use TTL with any TTL flash. But I get better results using P-TTL with multizone metering etc. I haven't gotten what I would term good results with TTL on the *istD, but I'm very happy with the P-TTL results. Using the bellows I get about a 1mm crop on all sides from the slide mount using an FA50f1.4 and minimum extension on the bellows. If you use a 12mm extension tube you get a lot less of the image. You can't mount the camera on the bellows normally though. You need to remove the K mount ring from the bellows, mount that on the camera then place the camera and ring on the bellows. You have to do this with the MZ-S and Z1p as well. I have modified the k mount on the bellows to make it work P-TTL and I just mount an AF360 about 8 inches from the end of slide copier and trigger it wireless from the *istD.
