I think you may need to calibrate your monitor...

Concering artefacts, I think I know what you mean. Consider for
example the second leaf from the right in the back row. I just had
another look at the raw file, and it's present there too. So it's not
a compression artefact, at least. :-)

I think it's actually a reflection on the water. When the ripples move
the leaves there are times when one edge of a leaf can press the water
surface slightly down. Then the arc on the water will easily catch
reflections...

The amount of photoshop work here is minimal. Adjusted curves slightly
in the conversion from raw, and applied some USM after rezising. I
also cropped the image slightly from top and left, probably about 150
pixels off in each direction.
