C'mon. When you're not a "pro", there's this thing called the "family album". You don't "need" it, but you want to have it. You can't suspect the millions of buyers of disposable cameras to have bought "shiny toys to play with". Those cardboard boxes were just tools used to get to the purpose - memories added to the album.
