What may end up happening though, is local film industry may support this type of market, and it might be hard to get hold of film outside these markets. That would be kind of weird, diehard American, Canadian, British and etc. film lovers buying film from India and China from some as yet unnamed companies.
almost half the population of the planet is either Indian or Chinese. I don't know about China, but I do know that there are a lot of film cameras (admittedly rather crappy ones) in India, and a lot of film being used there. I think it's going to take an awful lot to get all of those people to get rid of working film cameras and part with their hard-earned money to buy digital cameras and the other paraphernalia that goes with them.
