I have a few questions about the "Green Button" method for "Pre-A" lenses.

1.) How much time is actually wasted having to "pre-meter" with K/M lenses,
1/2 second? 2 seconds? More? Less?
Less than 1/2 second. In time it becomes second nature. You don't even realize you're doing it.

2.) Have any of you actually missed an important shot waiting for, or
forgetting, the pre-meter step?
I can't say that I have. In fact it has forced me to think about the light and how I should meter it.

3.) Can this method be used in conjunction with "Spot" metering?
I believe it works with center-weighted only.
