no, you can't, but you easily get to the point where what looks good on the monitor looks good on the printer with no surprises without changing a thing. the colors have the right relationship to one another and both highlight and shadow detail come out well when printed if they look good on the monitor. i adjust my images to look their best on the monitor and print without further adjustments knowing that they will look very good on my Epson 1280. if i really want them to look as close as possible, i would calibrate the printer too. right now, they look very good without being an exact match. it's impossible to get an exact match because of the different rendering technology.
