I've just spent some time (& half a roll fo film) playing with my new toy, the
1.7x teleconverter/autofocus converter and I have to say that it's really fun!
What a nifty device!
I just slapped it and an SMC-A 50/1.7 on my PZ-1p, went out in the garden and
photographed some flowers and stuff. Between the 1.7x maginification and the
combined focusing range of the lens itself and the teleconverter, you can get
right up close. I also must admit I liked having my old A-series lens
autofocusing away.
If the image quality is half way decent I'll be really happy!
