Top level outdoor nature photogs in the USA are gradually going totally digital
capture. I've seen first hand the prints several of these pros are producing & selling
with 6 & 8 meg cameras & the images are truly magnificant. I've not seen side by side
comparisons of the same image done with film but when viewing the digital capture the
results don't want for anything.

Architectural photography is still being done with 4x5 chrome. It
depends on the quality you think you need.

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war.
During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings
