i don't spot negs anymore. one of the reasons i went digital as soon as i could. slides with Digital ICE was worth the slight loss in sharpness. the 20 minutes i am willing to spend working on a really good photo is for a exhibition printing. i've had a handful of photos in the last five years worth spending more than 20 minutes on. most of them had to have some elements removed in Photoshop such as a graffiti on a rock that i couldn't quite frame out of the composition.
