Sure, I'd love a DSLR. It wouldn't be my first photographic priority,
but it would be quite high up there. I'd like a second m mount body
(maybe that new Zeiss Ikon? <g>) as well, but I'd like to go digital
some day, and a DSLR would be the most flexible way to do that insofar
as I could use my k mount lenses that I currently own.

The *ist D is so nice and compact, it wouldn't be a bad "street cam"
at all - a bit of tape over the logo, and I'm on my way! <LOL>.
Seriously, Juan certainly seems to like his, and I like the size.

I don't know if it would ever take over film as my main format for
shooting, but it would be nice to have the flexibility of those two
formats. And, who knows, once I have a digital cam, I might turn into
a Digi-whore. <vbg>

cheers,
frank
