it, so I'll just ask, what makes you say that one can't have control over
their output unless one uses digital. And what the heck is it with so many
of you digi people that you seemingly MUST comment on how many hundreds of
exposures you make?

Shel, for most people who shoot film, control over their photography is handed off to someone in a photo lab.
Thats one of the nice things about digital for the hobbyist. It allows him (her) to take control of their image from start to finish, if they so desire.
Darkrooms just don't seem to be as popular as they used to be.
