You're so very wrong about the type of photography that I "favor." Yes, I like photos that make social commentary, but I've posted numerous funny pics here, a whole series of kids in my old neighborhood, portraits, color snaps and digi pics, abstracts, and still life. In fact, by my estimation, the other types of photos substantially outnumber those that make a "social commentary," at least in the sense that I think you mean it in this context. In the last week or two I've posted a couple of portraits of Carol, a hot dog vendor, a pic of my bedroom wall at sunset, maybe the people practicing yoga (don't recall if it was posted here or elsewhere), and perhaps one or two others. This recent photo, which some have construed as social commentary, and which may have some such implication, is the only one of five or six recent pics that may fit your description.
