This is true. It's also true that generally Europeans work fewer hours and
have much more vacation time than Americans. Am I right in believing that
Americans have something like 22 days paid vacation/year? The European
*average* is 34. I read Germany tops the league table at 43!
That will change from place to place.
In Canada, for example, most provinces seem to have 10 days paid vacation, where I live, the number is 15 days.
