If your camera appears as a drive letter when plugged in
like most of them do then yes, you can copy back to the card
in the camera or in a reader.
Don't remember what camera you have but most new ones just appear
as a disk to the computer.
I would try it with a card with no important pics on it to be sure
but I used to take them of the Olympus 5050, edit them
and then put them back on the card to take to the printer.
