Ahhhhh, the Concorde.... Before service stopped to IAD it used to fly over my house twice a week on it's final approach (I live about 20 miles from IAD). The sound was out of this world... A deep crackling booming rumbling sound. FWIW the Concorde uses the same type of engine as most fighter aircraft: After burning turbojets (it has 4 of them) whereas other commercial airliners use turbofans. -- Christian [EMAIL PROTECTED]
