Dymo label tape makes great leader retriever as well.

Take a few inches of dymo tape and remove the barrier layer to expose the adhesive.
Rotate the film backwards a few times to ensure it is winding free, and to get a feel for when it clicks (thats the tongue bouncing off the opening).
Stop winding just after you hear the film click.
Insert the dymo tape, adhesive side down into the cassette an inch or so, then rotate the film until it starts to suck the tape in.
Pull out the tape, and film leader.
