I just recieved the (now don't panic) DSLR Nikon D70 e-book that
I purchased from http://www.digitalsecrets.net.
I purchased it mainly because it contains over 400 "actions"
for Photoshop CS, one of which is a cool polariser simulator.
I went looking for one after a recent thread here about
simulating a polariser effect in PS CS.
At $49.95 US the whole works cost less than the other PL sim-
ulators I found on the net.
Along with the actions there is a 378 page PDF book that contains
VERY detailed information on digital cameras/imaging/processing.
It also has a chapter on how to use the actions in CS, and many
other CS functions, as well as a whole section on RAW conversion.
The entire thing is illustrated with hi-res pics and even some
movies.
Many images are "clickable" for a larger view and a lower res
version is included for slower computers.
Though it is specific to the D70, 90% of it applies to any
brand/model of digital PS or DSLR.
All that along with several other utilities and a color chart
make this one of the best purchases I've made in a while.
([EMAIL PROTECTED], I sound like a commercial for this guy. No I'm not
affiliated in any way!) ;-)
IMHO a lot of info for the money.
