Correct, "simulated" only, darker sky and some relection removal (hiding) mostly. Contrast and saturation enhancement tool for the most part. Similar to some of the the Nik tools. Does a nice job sometimes and poor on others. Obviously can't bring out objects hidden behind reflections like a true polariser.
