I used to have this problem with my MZ-5n. Fine horizontal scratches on the film, sometimes up to a few frames long. Mine were not visible when the slide was projected.
I think that the cause was some sort of contaminant on the pressure plate that was causing the problem. I took a brush and blower bulb to the back of the camera and that fixed the problem for me.
